ARIA Las Vegas

DINING

There’s no shortage of restaurants. Here are a few of Las Vegas’ newest.

SW Steakhouse at the Wynn

Choosing the best steak in Las Vegas didn’t take Scott Conant long. On The Best Thing I Ever Ate, Scott said he quickly fell for the chile-rubbed double rib eye at SW Steakhouse. Request a table overlooking the Lake of Dreams for a classic steak dinner, complete with sides like truffle creamed corn and sauteed wild mushrooms. And don’t worry about bringing along vegetarians: Chef David Walzog offers a vegan menu too.

Rosina

Classic cocktails star at this swanky bar at The Palazzo Las Vegas, with champagne brought to guests at the push of a button, plus craft beers, wine and off-menu cocktails.

Salud Mexican Bistro and Tacqueria

A Mexican menu featuring the classics and more modern creations (think duck carnitas

and gnocchi with guajillo mushroom cream sauce) is paired with tequila cocktails and flights at this laid-back bistro in The Lakes.

MB Steak

From brothers David and Michael Morton, this upscale steakhouse at the Hard Rock Hotel

and Casino specializes in choice cuts simply sea- soned with a signature spice blend plus

seafood plates and classic sides.

Otoro Robata Grill and Sushi

This stylish Japanese venue at The Mirage prepares sushi, sashimi, hot entrees and skew- ered bites fresh off the robata grill, which are paired with house cocktails and Japanese beers and spirits. Dark woods and cozy booths artfully accent the softly lit setting.

Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill

On Restaurant Row in the Venetian, this spin-off of a Miami hot spot serves global small plates including crudos, raw-bar fare, Spanish tapas and robata grill dishes, backed by creative cock- tails with Latin and Asian flavors. The spacious bar and dining room have an Old Havana look,

Bazaar Meat

Why go? To feast on all forms of meat, from A5 Kobe straight from Japan to Finnish caviar.

According to superstar chef José Andrés, his restaurant at SLS is a “meathouse,” dedicated to celebrating the bounty of the earth. The ingredi- ents are the stars here, but the chefs still have  fun showing them off. That means foie gras is offered wrapped in cotton candy and dishes like the classic steak tartare are mixed tableside with plenty of panache.

This Roman-themed shopping area features more than 160 upscale shops, including
